So handsome and sweet, just look at those eyes!!
Toby (and a few of his friends) had a run in with a porcupine, NOT fun, however hopefully lesson learned!! From the very beginning, despite having been through such an ordeal, Toby has remained an absolute sweetheart! Very shy and unsure of his new surroundings and new foster family in the beginning, it only took a couple of days before he was already starting to trust and settle in. After only 4 weeks, he is loving belly scratches, hanging out with his foster family (4 legged members too), working on basic training (still a puppy, and did not have any previous training), and playing with his doggy neighbour friends! Toby is very smart, and learns quickly, it helps he is very food motivated! He has a very calming energy about him, not something that can be easily explained, you need to experience it for yourself. It has been so rewarding for us as his foster family to be a part of this journey with him, and we are also very excited to help find his forever family, so they can also share in this experience!!
