Meet Spring a big sweetheart and cuddlebug
Hi my name is Spring but everyone calls me Ruby. When AARCS rescued me I was living outside, I have quickly come to realize that I was born to be a house dog. For starters I get fed everyday!! I am still learning that the food comes at regular intervals and so sometimes my foster Mom says I eat too fast and we have been working on slowing down. My favorite is when they put my dinner in what they call a kong and I have to figure out how to get it out. I am not sure about other dogs being near me while eating but I am learning that we all get our own meals, imagine that!
What I really love is cuddling, I love sleeping on my foster parents feet when they cook, wash dishes and watch tv.
There are also two little people in my house that I adore, I like to walk up to them and sit, if they bend down just enough I can sneak a few kisses in.
Because I was fending for myself I am still nervous around new things especially new dogs. I need someone who can take the time to show me other dogs are my friends. I am living with 3 large dogs currently that I have slowly warmed up to. Once I realized they were not going to hurt me we became friends and love to play in the backyard.
I am learning to love my crate, it is where I eat, spend time while my foster parents aren’t home and sleep. I sleep all night in there without a peep. I am working on my house training and getting better every day.
So if you are looking for a loving, cuddly girl and have some patience to help me learn to trust that I am safe I could be your girl.
