I’m so beautiful that everyone thought I was a girl when I arrived at AARCS!
My long and lovely coat kept me warm when I was out on my own in the cold winter. I made it, and though I don’t need my mommy anymore, I love my furry foster brother and sister. We wrestle and walk together every day (I’m great on leash, too!). I’m so well behaved I can sleep on my foster mom’s bed through the night and I wait all alone for her in “the van” if she must run in to someplace where I’m not allowed. I think she wants me to be a tough-toy tester when I grow up, because I can chew through even the toughest toys (and I do, including your shoes if you leave them laying around for me!). Sometimes she gives me a raw bone to chew or the indestructible orange kong while I’m waiting! I’m cuddly, energetic, curious and learning every day (so I’m smart, too). I will come when you call (if you have a treat for me – I’m “highly food-motivated”) and I’ve visited school kids to show off AARCS’s stuff – and boy!…did they love “fluffy” me! I would like to go to a home where I’m not left alone all day and not kenneled up (I overheat in a kennel) – somewhere where there are dogs or kids or grown-ups who have time to exercise me and make me their best friend and most wonderful companion.
