Hi it’s me Jackson. I had a bit of a rough start to my young life but things are sure looking up now. Things have really changed for me, over the past 2 weeks, now that I’m in a warm, loving foster home; I get 2 meals per day, I have a great big kennel that I sleep in at night with all my toys and I’ve even learned to go potty outside or on my pee pads. I have lots of toys and bones to chew on so I leave everything else alone but my weakness is shoes.
Jackson was brought into care after he was found living outside in -30 degree weather. He was very skinny and was found to have some sort of skin damage to his chest that had become infected; it was suspected he was trying to stay warm by lying on a heat source but burnt himself in the process.
My nickname is “Action Jackson” as I like to be on the go!

Skin in his chest was possibly frozen or burnt – although healed, there is a hyper pigmentation and the hair may not grow back depending on the depth of the damage. Skin is otherwise healthy.
