    Story

    Hello!

My name is Hope and I am looking for my furever family. I came to AARCS during the cold, winter months and am a little timid sometimes (especially with guys), but it doesn’t take me long to warm up to you and give you lots of wet kisses. I love playing with my foster brothers and would love a home with another dog who I can play with. I love to play, but that being said, I also love to curl up next to you and get in lots and lots of snuggles. I enjoy squeeky toys as well as chewing on a good bone. I understand that dog toys are for me to play with and people things are not allowed to be chewed. I don’t mind going into my kennel when you are not home or at night, but I also have amazing house manners and would behave myself if you decided to leave me out of the kennel. I am still working on not pulling when I go for walks on my leash and I would do best in a sturdy harness instead of just a collar. My head shape allows me to easily slip out of collars and then take myself for a walk, which I have been told is not the way things are done. My foster mom and dad are teaching me to sit before I am allowed to go outside to and to come in when they call. I am picking things up pretty fast because they tell me I am a smart girl. I would love a home to call my very own as well as a family whom I can charm with my beautiful eyes and playful personality. They say that I would make an excellent addition to any home and I believe them
