  • Story

Miss Kay has just finished raising her 7 puppies in AARCS care and is now ready to find a forever home all of her very own.

Miss Kay is a smart and loyal companion who wants to be your very best friend. She has a zest for life and exploring that is contagious. Every single person who has met her in foster care has fallen in love with her gentle demeanor and almost immediate requests for pats and belly rubs. Typical of her primary breed and age, she has a good amount of energy and loves to go for long walks and runs. She bounces through the snow like a little jack rabbit and loves to run and play. Miss Kay will need a family who is able to ensure she gets regular opportunities to release some of that energy through walks or runs. Once tired out Miss Kay is content to curl up for a long nap on her dog bed. Miss Kay has spent all of her time in foster care in homes with small children and absolutely loves her time with dog-respectful young kids. She is patient, gentle and kind with young children. She also has lived with dogs of both larger and smaller breeds and enjoys both. Miss Kay is a medium sized dog, currently weighing about 40 pounds and likely full grown. Miss Kay would love the opportunity to hang out with other dogs who like to play with her. Miss Kay is substantially house trained and working on her basic obedience skills such as recall and not pulling on the leash when walking.

If you are looking for an enthusiastic and loyal companion on your adventure through life, Miss Kay is your lady!
