Hadrian is lovingly known as little pony, and his foster mom calls him Romeo. He’s very sweet and loves to supervise, yet he can be shy, sensitive and reserved.
He’s lovingly referred to as “Legs” or “little pony” due to his height.
Don’t let this boy’s height fool you. He thinks he is a lap dog.
Hadrian was surrendered to AARCS around the middle of September.
Hadrian is great around all other dogs, never having shown any aggression. He would do best in a home with canine brothers or sisters. He’s also very good, and respectful with children, and seems to be good with cats as well.
Hadrian is extremely sweet, gentle, observant, and active. Yet he loves his naps on the couch, preferably curled up beside you, maybe even on you. He’s very sensitive and takes a while to adjust to any changes in his environment including new people, but once he’s used to you, he will be by your side, every step of wherever you’re going. He’s very loyal and looks to his human for guidance and assurance.
Hadrian is a very handsome and unique looking boy, in the way that he has the Greyhound build, but has a longer coat and a curly tail.
This pooch is best suited for a more experienced dog person, who has the patience, time, and will to pursue further training with Hadrian. We have experienced some severe separation anxiety with the possibility of destructive behavior. Hadrian knows his basics of sit and lay down, he can even shake for a yummy treat, but needs more work in other aspects. He needs regular exercise to burn off his young dog energy, and is best suited for someone with a fenced yard, and regular walks.
