    Wanted: furr-ever playmates!

“Hi, I’m Reward! You wouldn’t know it to look at me now but I had a pretty scary start to life. A few months ago, my mom had to take care of me and my 5 brothers & sisters all by herself. She was doing her very best but she couldn’t find food and she was running out of milk to feed us. We were all starving and were sick with upper respiratory, things weren’t looking good for us. Then one day a miracle happened and some wonderful people found us and took us to a place called AARCS. Before long, we all had a warm place to sleep and full belly’s. Our foster family gave us medicine so we could start feeling better. But we were sicker then anyone knew and we also had many strains of ringworm. The wonderful people at AARCS didn’t give up on us though.

A few weeks after we settled into our new home, three more kittens arrived at AARCS that were sick just like we were. Our amazing momma cat Jesse adopted them and now we have even more friends to play with.

I’m now all better and have been with my new foster mom for about a month. I was pretty scared at first: there are four small humans in this house and they are LOUD. It was three days before I even came out from under the bed, except to eat and do the necessary. But slowly I’ve learned that loud doesn’t hurt, and guess what – these miniature humans are GREAT to play with. I’m even happy to play with other random humans that come to my foster home. My foster mom says that I would do best in a house with other cats, or being adopted with a buddy, because I’m super playful and spend hours with the two cats that live here. I sure do hope that someone will come and give me my furr-ever home soon.”
