Hi my name is Dexter I’m what they call a low rider pup.
Dexter was adopted from us as a young puppy. Due to some life changes in his previous home it was best for Dexter to be returned to us so that he could find a family that is able to continue to work with Dexter on his anxiety and timidness. Dexter has lived in a home with a young child and did very well with this child. However, we feel he is best suited to a home with either older children or no children. Dexter is great with other dogs and has been to doggy daycare for the day and also stayed at a couple local places in the past. Dexter will need a family that can continue to boost his confidence. He can be quite shy with any new people he meets and would be best suited to a calmer quieter home. One where Dexter’s people can continue to build his confidence. Dexter would be fine as an only dog (as long as he continues to get opportunities to socialize with other dogs frequently) or in a home with another canine companion.
Looking for a big dog in a compact package pick me Dexter!
