Bonnie is a sweetheart. She loves people and is eager to please. Although Bonnie has special medical needs she is a pretty easy girl to have around. She loves walking in the neighborhood on her Easy Walk harness and lazing on the couch or dog bed beside you. She is fabulous in her crate but must wear a cone or she will eat bedding. She travels very nicely in car but needs help getting in. She is great with my cat but I am sure would chase a cat that runs. She is good with dogs.
Bonnie came into care with a litter of puppies and it appears she has had several litters. She has had multiple health issues, most recently a knee surgery. While she recovered in our home she showed herself as the most patient dog ever. Pardon the pun. Bonnie is very accepting of being in crate, however she was in the center of our home so always a part of the family as she recovered. She gets excited when company arrives but settles quickly. Bonnie and I have had a lot of fun exploring activities together that involve thinking. She is a smart girl. There were never any problems with resident dogs or cat. Bonnie is pretty laid back. She is learning how to be a great companion on her journey to a forever home.
Bonnie will be an amazing companion for the adopter/family who is able to spend lots of time with her.
