Big white ball of fur, sweet, lovable, playful, loyal girl.
Clara was found under a doorstep of an abandoned house with her siblings. She was a very frightened little pup at the age of 3 months. Her siblings have all been adopted and are doing great. But Clara has had to overcome some severe shyness/anxiety. She has come a long way in the six months she has been in her last foster home. She just celebrated her 1st year birthday. In the last 6 months she has learned to go outside to do her business and hasn’t had an accident in the house in a couple of months. So I think it is fair to say she is house trained in that category. We are working on crate training, but she is still not a fan of the crate. So ideally she would like to be in a home that someone would be around most of the time or if she could go with them. She goes to work everyday with her foster mom and does very well. She stays on her bed until its time to go for a walk and do her business and she knows when its time to go home. She does really well on car rides. When she first came into foster care she was terrified of the leash but has come to love the leash! She loves to go for walks, she pulls a little as all the new smells are so interesting! She does get nervous still if new people come in to close, so a tight grip on her leash is a good idea. She gets along great with the 2 smaller dogs and cat in the foster home. She would love to be in a home that has a gentle fur leader for her follow. And someone that could spend the time to allow her to get comfortable and show her love to them. Once she finds her person, she is 100% committed to that person.
If you think you have the time to invest in me, you won’t be disappointed!
