“Hi there! My name is Tika and I’m a very calm, quiet girl. I really enjoy walks but I’m also good with just hanging with you in the house. I like to follow my foster mom around, just in case she decides to give me a treat I want to be ready. My previous home had to give me up due to unforeseen circumstances, unfortunately but don’t worry, I have excellent manners – I’m potty trained, I don’t beg for food from the table and I only jump on the couch or bed when I’m invited (ok, maybe I jump on the couch when no one is looking…). I’m also a really good listener. I’m ok in a large doggy crate but I don’t chew stuff or get into any mischief when I’m left alone, so I would really rather just stretch out all day while you are gone. My foster mom was surprised to find out how much I like to cuddle. I might seem shy at first….but I’m really not. I loooooove scratches all over. I may not even let you stop! My nose nudges work 100% of the time.
I have some pain in my knees but I’m working on losing some weight – the vet says that will help. I have some magic medicine that is doing the trick. That being said, I’m like young pup when I hear my leash come off the hook! W.A.L.K.! I’m super ready to find my pack! Let’s meet – I’ll charm ya. ;)” – xo Tika
