Fundraise for AARCS

The Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society (AARCS) is often approached by kind individuals and organizations that are looking to hold their own fundraisers to raise money for AARCS. A Third Party Fundraiser is defined as any event which is planned, hosted, and staged by someone other than AARCS.

Third Party Fundraisers can include everything from:
  • Company social group fundraisers
  • Golf tournaments
  • Kids lemonade stands
  • Weddings – brides and grooms asking their guests to donate to AARCS in lieu of wedding gifts or favors
  • Birthday parties
  • Bake sales
  • Silent auctions
  • and many more wonderful ideas.

These events provide a vital source of income to AARCS and any amount raised is very gratefully received.

Fundraising Promotional Guidelines:

Please review the following guidelines on how you can promote your third party fundraiser. We ask that you please do not rely on AARCS social media to promote additional fundraising initiatives as we already do so on a regular basis for our current animals in care, campaigns and programs. A Third Party Fundraiser is defined as any event which is planned, hosted, and staged by someone other than AARCS.

Fundraisers Valued at $499 or Under
  • Event information listed on our website under “Events and On-going Promotions” (all digital promotional material must be provided directly to AARCS)
  • Fundraising website (if desired)
  • Thank you Letter from AARCS
  • A thank you post on the AARCS Facebook page with your photo and funds raised (if provided directly to AARCS)
  • Fundraisers Valued at $500 – $999
  • Event listed in our volunteer newsletter (all digital promotional material must be provided directly to AARCS)
  • Event information listed on our website under “Events and On-going Promotions” (all digital promotional material must be provided directly to AARCS)
  • Fundraising website (if desired)
  • A Facebook event created by AARCS (please note that a Facebook event/promotion can only be open for a maximum of two weeks)
  • Thank you Letter from AARCS
  • A thank you post on the AARCS Facebook Page with your photo and funds raised (if provided directly to AARCS)
  • Fundraisers Valued at $1,000+
  • Event listed in our volunteer newsletter (all digital promotional material must be provided directly to AARCS)
  • Event information listed on our website under “Events and On-going Promotions” (all digital promotional material must be provided directly to AARCS)
  • Fundraising website (if desired)
  • A Facebook event created by AARCS (please note that a Facebook event/promotion can only be open for a maximum of two weeks)
  • A Facebook/Twitter/Instagram post prior to the event (All digital promotional material must be provided directly to AARCS)
  • Thank you Letter from AARCS
  • A thank you post on the AARCS Facebook Page with your photo and funds raised (if provided directly to AARCS)
