AARCS is a non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of the public. We do not receive government funding and rely on donations and minimal adoption fees to help cover the costs of all our expenses, the majority being veterinary care for our animals in foster care.

While we have the manpower, drive and ambition, financial support is essential to cultivate and maintain not only the basic costs, but to further develop our programs and initiatives. Please check out our Programs Page for more details.

Become a Monthly Donor

Please consider becoming monthly donor. Sign up for any monthly amount, $20, $50, $100 directly from your bank account or credit card. It may not seem like a lot, but this reliable and steady monthly donation helps maintain our programs and ultimately help more animals. A tax receipt and thank you card will be mailed out at the end of each year.

Donate Your Appreciated Securities / Stocks

There are many great benefits to donating your appreciated securities. Giving publicly traded securities (stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares) is a tax-smart way to support AARCS. You will receive a tax receipt for the full appreciated value of the donation and you are not subject to any capital gains tax.

Organize Fundraising Event

Organize and event and direct proceeds to AARCS

• Garage sale, martini party, poker night with friends, bottle refunds
• BBQ, Christmas parties, payday 50/50 pools, company charity campaigns
• Request donations in lieu of gifts for your birthday
• Donate in lieu of favors at your wedding celebrations
• Ask AARCS for a card or letter to give to a loved one for any occasion. Ie Christmas, Birthday, Aniversary.

We appreciate that not everyone has the time to volunteer on a regular basis or foster an animal. Consider supporting AARCS by donating on a regular basis so we can continue to help more animals.

In-Kind Donations

Donate an item on our Wish List or donate your corporate products or services.

In-kind items with a documented fair market value over $100 are eligible for a tax receipt. Large ticket items we are currently looking for include:

• Vehicle (mini-van, 4x4 truck)
• Fork Lift
• Industrial washer and dryer
• Commercial printer/scanner
• Printing and Marketing Services
• Trailer (enclosed cargo trailer, similar to the small u-haul trailers, or small horse trailer)
